Care after trauma.
At a pace we discuss together.

Trauma can affect sleep, concentration, relationships, and the sense of feeling safe. An initial conversation is a place to discuss what you want help with and the support that may fit your needs.

Understanding your experience

Start with a conversation.

I’ll ask about the symptoms that are affecting your life now, your health and treatment history, and your current support. We can discuss what feels manageable to share and what you need from the assessment.

Planning together

Consider your options.

We’ll consider your symptoms and goals when discussing treatment options, including whether medication may have a role and whether a clinician who specializes in trauma-focused psychotherapy would be a better fit for part of your care. With your permission, we can discuss coordination with your other clinicians.

Your next step

Care that starts with you.

Care begins with an individual assessment. We’ll discuss whether my practice fits your needs and what follow-up could look like. When another type or level of care may be more appropriate, I’ll try to help you find it.
